Welcome to Barrington Hill Vineyard!
Planted in two stages.
The lower Vineyard was planted about 20 years ago. It includes approximately 160 Montepulciano (DNA verified) vines which yield about 400 bottles of wine.
The upper vineyard was terraced with hand-built rock walls and planted in 2016. It includes approximately 450 vines of Cabernet Sauvignon (clone 337 same as the top wineries in Napa.) Yield is typically 400 bottles.
The Vineyard has drip irrigation if needed.
The labor cost to maintain the Vineyard is about $6000 - $8000 per year which includes the harvest and winemaking from crush to bottling at a friend’s house about two miles away.
